Spitfire Toe Link Kit - Parallel and Recessed Upright - VX220 / Opel Speedster

ON ORDER , Sold Out

UPRIGHT IDENTIFICATION
The simplest method to determine which upright type is fitted is to simply see if there is a
spacer fitted on the top of the upright where the toe-links are secured.
Just pop your camera behind the rear wheel and raise it to about the same height as the
undertray (both wheel and undertray may remain in situ) then point the camera outwards with
the light on towards the wheel and take a pic.
It should look like one of the images below, If you are not sure we can always check the image
for you of course.
In the first picture below, just under the nut you can clearly see a large diameter spacer, it’s
normally about 10mm high. If you have this spacer fitted it must be an M10 recessed early
upright as the spacer simply cannot be fitted with the M12 ball joints.
M10 UPRIGHT, THIS HAS A LARGE SPACER BELOW THE NUT.

Alternatively the image below shows the M12 fitting, this is simply a large M12 nut sitting directly
onto the surface of the upright, usually with a thin washer.
